6. Handicap per game will be 80% of the difference in average from 130, based on the following criteria. Averages used for handicap in each tournament will continue to be a blend of tournament and league averages. For each event we will use:
A. Tournament average (if 9 strings or more) since September 2021 (season 6). If less than 9 strings, this component will not be included. We will have this data at the event.
B. All regular and summer league and tour (e.g. ACST) averages from Fall of 2023 forward, with 21 or more strings. These averages will be combined for a single component average, rounding down. If you do not have all of the averages, please supply the highest.
Example: a bowler with league averages of 93 and 90 will have a League component of 91.
B1. A bowler with no recent league average may use older league average(s), subject to tournament director discretion.
B2. A bowler with no league average may bowl with Tournament average only as in A above, or with no handicap given.
Your composite average for this event will include A and B above as applicable, averaged together and rounded UP (since league averages and the composites above are rounded down).
